100th Reunion – March 1, 2025
The Eastern Arkansas Scottish Rite Bodies held their Spring Reunion on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
This was a landmark event, celebrating the 100th Reunion!
It was dedicated to the memory of:
Ill. Wallace “Wally” Ray Thomas, 33°, Past Venerable Master
Bro. John W. Shipley, 32° KCCH, Past Master of Kadosh
Bro. David Neal Davis, 32°
We come together at this reunion, as we do at all others, to appreciate the degree work, enjoy fellowship, and perhaps share a fine meal. But at this, our 100th reunion, we pause to remember three of our brethren who, on March 1st, 2022, set out together to share in those very same traditions at a Blue Lodge, when, in an instant, they were taken from us.
They were called to that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Each was a member of the Valley of Jonesboro and a dedicated part of our 14th degree team, Perfect Elu.
While we cannot fully measure the impact of their combined contributions to our Valley, or to masonry as a whole, we can certainly reflect on the privilege of having walked alongside them, even for a short time – a time that was meaningful, a time that was special.
